DESCRIPTION
IMEM pole type transformers can be installed in overhead distribution systems in residential developments, downtown urban neighborhoods, small industries, shopping malls, and diverse loads.

This is the most used transformer for the rural and urban electrification, and it is designed for outdoors installation service with a great variety of high and low voltage connections, according to the specifications flexibility.

Considering all the accessories and different arrangements, the soaking period can be adjusted to your needs. The equipment is designed to comply with the mandatory Mexican standard (NOM002-SEDE) and the standards NMX-J 116_ANCE and NOM001-SEDE.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Roll-core transformers are built with M3-MOH grain oriented silicon steel sheet that has been heat treated and laser oriented, imported from USA and Japan.

Bent octagonal core, armored type, with 5 0.23 mm 0.009 inch legs High magnetic permeability with a CARLITE ™ insulating coating to resist an 820 degrees Celsius temperature.

Manufactured with highly accurate UNICORE machines to obtain
the vacuum losses. High voltage coils are built from coated 150ºC type magnet wire.

Low voltage coils are manufactured with electrostatic powder insulated 180ºC type sill compatible to resist exposure to the oil without property decline.

They are manufactured with low resistance
electrolytic copper and/or aluminum.

The coil insulations used are class 120ºC made of kraft paper coated with epoxy resin in a rhombus shape on both sides, insulation cardboard, and crepe paper imported from USA and Europe.

The tanks are subjected to a surface preparation chemical process to attain the adequate fitting for the coating and/or sandblasted with electrostatic or liquid steel pellets and paint.

The type of oil used is naphthenic oil obtained from the crude fractional distillation, prepared and refined for its use in high voltage electrical equipment.

Complying with the Mexican Standard NMX-J-123 On make-to-order production we use any type of dielectric liquid with high heat capacity such as FR3 ENVIROTEMP, R-TEMP, SILICON, etc.

APPLICATION
Standard Transformer.

5 position switch: Normal, 2 above and 2 under the primary nominal voltage, interior or exterior operation.

Designed
to run at 1000 or 2300 m a. s. l. at a 65ºC temperature rise, 30ºC on average and at a maximum of 40ºC in a 24-hour process.

In high voltage, for one-phase transformers, connection between line and line (YT or one bushing) On three phase transformers with delta or star connection.

At under voltage, parallel connections or 3 wire serial connections for single-phase transformers and star with neutro connection accessible from the exterior part of the tank, for three phase transformers.

Transformers Protection against the voltage excess caused by operation maneuvers, opening/closing and atmospheric discharges.

Protection from severe discharges (short circuit) due to failures in the secondary circuit.
