MANUFACTURING PROCESS

CORE

It is manufactured with silicon steel sheets, grain oriented, cold rolled with high magnetic permeability, M0H-M3 QUALITY, worked to low flux densities to prevent losses and minimize excitation current.

COILS AND INSULATIONS

Copper and/or aluminum sill plate, with double varnish insulation, double fiberglass, Kapton or electrostatic dust lining.

PAINT

A transformer assembled with coils and insulations impregnated in a 24-hour varnish coating, guaranteeing a quiet operation, improves the insulation between spirals and layers that protect the magnetic core from moisture.

ASSEMBLY

“Kulka» or «Clema» type connection terminal blocks, brass or copper sill screws according to their capacity placed on celeron or epoxy blocks on top of the transformer.

DATA PLATE

A laminated paper plate is attached to a visible part and there is a STEEL data plate for internal service on each transformer.

LABORATORY TESTS

Routine tests are conducted on each transformer
to ensure complying with the customers’ requirements. Afterwards, a
test report is submitted.
Transformer turns ratio and connections polarity.
Core losses and vacuum excitation current.
Conductor losses (cupper and/or aluminum) and
impedance percentage calculation High voltage applied to winding for 1 minute. Type 220ºC insultations are placed between windings and layers. According to their insulation type, these materials do not
absorb moisture, avoid flame propagation, and permanently guarantee an insulation resistance between windings and core.

They can be stocked with cabinets type internal service NEMA 1, NEMA 3 rainproof or NEMA 12 dustproof manufactured with a metal sheet. Insulation resistance with megohmmeter. Absolute guarantee.

COOLING

Dry transformers are guaranteed against manufacturing and material defects for one year from the date of shipment. The dry transformers are insulated with class B, H, and/or F materials. They are prepared for work in closed environments, due to their safe operation, especially in the event of fire. They have compact, maintenance-free designs.
Frente a otras alternativas, tienen la ventaja de poseer un bajo porcentaje de materiales combustibles, disminuyendo la emisión de gases tóxicos (fundamentalmente el CO) de acero y acabado con premier y pintura acrílica color gris ANSI61; o si así lo prefieren, sin gabinete.
