PAD TYPE

DESCRIPTION

IMEM pad type transformers are designed for
indoors or outdoors service installation on a concrete
base. Built for the application of the residential and commercial underground distribution systems (RUS), (CDS).

The transformers have a pleasant appearance cabinet
for the environment, and safety systems that eliminate the need of additional protection and the risk of electric shock by unauthorized personnel.

These transformers also have a capacity from 15 up to 3000 kVa, with a great variety of high- and low-tension connections, depending on the specifications flexibility.

Considering all the accessories and different arrangements, the soaking period can be adjusted to your needs.

DESIGNED TO COMPLY WITH THE MEXICAN STANDARD (NOM002-SEDE-1999) AND NMX-J-285-ANCE-1999.

SPECIAL FEATURES
This type of transformer can be installed in underground distribution systems, usually located in residential and tourism developments, shopping malls, hotels, and places where the service continuity (only applicable in ring-type), safety, and statics are decisive factor.

A closed cabinet is integrated to the transformer, which contains the accessories and terminals to be connected to the underground distribution system.

The cabinet has an interior opening to give access to
high and low voltage wires.

APLICATION
Radial Feed. In this type of system, the transformer is connected individually, so it is only fed by only one source. This implies that, if by any reason the feeding energy lines are interrupted, the transformer cannot be energized quickly until the failure provoking the power outage is corrected.
RING-TYPE OPERATION
This transformer can be fed by two different sources and
can be part of an interconnected distribution system between several
transformers.

The main advantage of this type of setting is that, if by any reason one of the feeding sources is interrupted, the other feeding source can be used, in consequence, the interconnected transformer or transformers can be energized and operating while the failure causing the feeding interruption can be corrected.

Likewise, if there is a failure in one of the (interconnected) transformers part of the ring setting, the interruption period will be only the necessary to select and insulate the damaged equipment while the rest of the transformers are energized.
