DRY TYPE
DESCRIPTION
ANTI-POLLUTANT
They do not pollute the environment, since there are no possibilities of spilling, they do not require any oil drainage nor expensive systems against fires. Fire resistant. They are manufactured with insulations class “B”, “F”, and “H” type “Mylar” and “Nomex”, materials that can run at 150 and 200º C temperatures each, self-extinguible, do not propagate flames, and are not explosives.
MEGGER TEST
keep a high ohmic resistance even in an extremely humid environment, preserving their excellent dielectric features. HEAVY DUTY CYCLES It has a strong resistance to short circuits, heavy duty cycles, and regular overloads.
HEAVY DUTY CYCLES
QUIET
The dry transformer runs near people, so the noise level should be under 40-60 dB according to its capacity.
LOW MAINTENANCE
Dry transformers maintenance is minimum.
Special Building Features. CORE It is manufactured with silicon steel sheets, grain oriented, cold rolled with high magnetic permeability, M0H-M3 quality, worked to low flux densities to prevent losses and minimize excitation current.

CABINET
They can be stocked with cabinets type internal service NEMA 1, NEMA 3 rainproof or NEMA 12 dustproof manufactured with a steel sheet, finished with premier and gray color acrylic painting ANSI61, or without a cabinet, on preference.
DATA PLATE
A laminated paper plate is attached to a visible part and there is a STAINLESS-STEEL data plate for internal service on each transformer for outdoor service, clearly identifying the terminals, windings and voltages that will enable a safe connection.
TEST
Routine tests are conducted on each transformer to ensure complying with the customers’ requirements. Afterwards, a test report is submitted. Transformer turns ratio and connections polarity.
Core losses and vacuum excitation current. Cupper conductor losses and impedance percentage calculation Applied voltage to the high tension winding for 1 minute. Insulation resistance with megohmmeter.
ABSOLUTE GUARRANTY
IMEM dry transformers have a guarantee against manufacture defects and materials for a year from the shipping date. Dry transformers are ventilated with class “H” insulation prepared for running on closed environments. Due to their safe operation, especially in case of fire, they are compact designs free of maintenance. Compared to other alternatives, their advantage is that they contain a low percentage of insulating material, decreasing the toxic gas es emissions, specifically, CO.
